Cultural Skills is so much a part of the Sons of Norway, it is a great way to learn the great skills of the Norwegian cultural heritage.

The cultural skills program is open to all Sons of Norway members, both through our lodge or as an individual participant. There's something for everyone, of any age. There's language, genealogy, knitting and needlework and various styles of carving. There's literature, music and dancing and even stamp collecting. And for those who enjoy eating Norwegian delicacies, there is traditional Norwegian cooking and baking.

It is non-competitive. Members can participate individually or in groups. When certain steps are completed and attested, there is a medal to celebrate the accomplishment.
